The Nissan Micra Previewed
The new car by Nissan Motors – Micra has been one of the most awaited premium hatchback models in Indian car market. With speculations of a May-June 2010 launch let us go through all that the car has to offer. This five door A-segment small hatchback would be launched in India in collaboration with Renault.
The Nissan Micra would come in six variants with both manual and automatic transmission option and also with both petrol and diesel engine option. Micra might come with a 1.2L, 1240cc petrol engine and a 1.4L, 1386cc petrol engine capable of generating 80PS at 5200rpm with 110Nm of maximum torque at 3600rpm and 88PS power at 5200rpm with maximum torque of 128Nm at 3200rpm. While the 1.5L, 1461cc diesel engine would be capable of generating 86PS power at 3750rpm with maximum torque of 200Nm at 1900rpm.
